About the Role
We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our PR and Communications team. We’re looking for a creative and strategic storyteller with a passion for blockchain and Web3, capable of crafting compelling content that engages our community and elevates TON’s brand throughout our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Create high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, newsletters, whitepapers, social media posts, and website copy to promote TON’s products, updates, and ecosystem milestones
- Collaborate with the Communications Lead to develop content strategies that align with TON’s brand voice and objectives, ensuring consistency across all platforms
- Produce educational content to inform users about TON’s blockchain technology, features, and updates, fostering transparency and trust
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design teams to develop content that supports product launches, campaigns, and community initiatives
- Support crisis communication efforts by drafting timely and transparent user-facing content during high-demand periods or technical issues
Content Optimization & Quality Assurance
- Optimize content for SEO to increase organic reach and drive traffic to TON’s platforms
- Monitor industry trends and competitor content to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in storytelling
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines
Required Qualifications
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in the tech, software, or cryptocurrency industries
- A passion for crypto innovation, decentralized finance, and blockchain storytelling. You stay on top of industry trends and enjoy breaking down complex crypto concepts into clear, engaging narratives
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and decentralized applications
Core Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – You can turn complex concepts into compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences. You have a knack for finding the story within complicated topics and can capture our brand voice in every piece of writing
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content across various formats (blogs, social media, technical documentation, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency
Work Style & Adaptability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Language & Portfolio
- Native English-speaker or native-level English proficiency
- A portfolio showcasing content created for tech, software, or cryptocurrency audiences
Community & Technical Skills
- Active participation in blockchain or crypto communities on platforms like X, Reddit, or Discord
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
Global Collaboration
- Ability to work across time zones (CET +/- 3) to collaborate with global teams
