– Fundstrat’s Tom Lee Believes $100 Trillion Investor Class Could Set Bitcoin $200,000
Tom Lee, managing partner of investment research firm Fundstrat Global Advisors, has identified a group of investors whose participation might propel Bitcoin (BTC) into the six-figure range. In a CNBC interview, Lee stated that while baby boomers are not investing in Bitcoin, their participation (saying a 2% investment from $100 trillion) may spark a rally, pushing the flagship crypto asset’s price to over $200,000. SelfWealth, an online Australian platform, is set to become the country’s first traditional stockbroker to provide cryptocurrencies to domestic customers. The platform has reached an agreement with BTC Markets, one of the country’s oldest crypto exchanges. Inorder to allow SelfWealth clients to store their digital assets under one Platform. Music-streaming service Audius was created with the intention of being utilized on the Ethereum network, but it has gradually adopted competing blockchain Solana. The AUDIO token, which is based on Ethereum, has been linked to Solana. Wormhole’s Portal, a cross-platform bridge that lets users “wrap” an asset from one blockchain to utilize it on the other, allows any AUDIO token holder to move the ERC-20 token from Ethereum to Solana. Local investors are apparently able to wager on the price movements of bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE). Bulgarians can gamble on the price movements of the two most popular digital assets. Traders will not be able to buy cryptocurrencies directly through the initiative. Russia’s finance minister, Anton Siluanov, claimed that banning cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) is impossible, despite the Bank of Russia’s repeated calls for the government to do so. The finance minister believes that regulating the cryptocurrency business as soon as possible is preferable than prohibiting it. Residents of Colorado will soon be able to pay their taxes with Bitcoin. Colorado Governor Jared Polis said in a Tuesday interview with CNBC that the state will begin accepting cryptocurrency for state taxes this summer. Colorado is also investigating allowing residents to pay for additional services such as driver’s licenses with cryptocurrency, according to Polis.
