Ricardo Salinas Pliego, Mexicoâs third-richest billionaire, offered some bitcoin trading advice on Saturday. Salinas is the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, a conglomerate with businesses in telecommunications, media, finance, and retail. â UK Law Firm, Gunnercooke Announced That It Now Accepts Cryptocurrency Payments
According to a source, Gunnercooke, a commercial law firm based in the United Kingdom, has become the latest practice to accept cryptocurrencies as payment for services. The firm also claims to be one of the first big legal firms in the United Kingdom to offer clients payment options. â Brazil Makes First Move Towards Regulating Bitcoin With New Bill Proposal
According to an official statement, the Brazilian Senateâs Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) passed a bill on Tuesday to recognize and regulate the countryâs Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchanges. â Investors Asked To help Persuade SEC To Approve Grayscaleâs Bitcoin Spot ETF
Grayscale Investments launched a campaign on Tuesday to inform and encourage American investors to submit comments on its application to the SEC to convert Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (OTCQX: GBTC) to a spot bitcoin ETF. NYSE Arca, the exchange that would list and trade shares of the new bitcoin ETF if it is authorized, filed the application on Oct. 19.
