German stock exchange, Deutsche Börse, stated that bitcoin exchange-traded products (ETPs) have been extremely appealing to investors last year. The average monthly trading turnover in crypto ETNs increased by 922% to over $1 billion in 2020 ($115 million). It gave customers access to 36 cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes (ETNs) including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), Cardano (ADA), and others. According to recent statistics from Santiment, the number of Cardano addresses with a balance of 10,000 to 1,000,000 ADA has increased by 15,000 percent since mid-December 2021, according to a notable crypto analyst. Since then, the network has grown by 15,000 percent, with around 3,900 wallets joining. MicroStrategy’s bitcoin buying binge has resumed. On Tuesday, the Nasdaq-listed enterprise software company said that it had purchased an additional 660 bitcoins for about $25 million in cash. Between December 30 and January 31, the purchase was made at an average price of about $37,865 per bitcoin, including fees and expenditures. NYDIG has created a perk package that allows employees to convert a portion of their compensation into bitcoin. Solana Labs has created Solana Pay, a payments technology that allows merchants to accept crypto payments directly from customers. Using Solana Pay, retailers on the Solana blockchain can accept the USDC stablecoin, Solana’s native token SOL, and other Solana-based tokens. Solana Labs stated that transactions will be instantaneous and that businesses will receive “real-time” payments. They will also save money because of Solana’s lower rates.
