– Ripple In Collaboration With Central Bank Of Bhutan Launches CBDC Trial
The central bank of Bhutan has picked Ripple as its CBDC partner Japanese financial news outlet Nikkei reports that The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan will partner with Ripple to launch a trial phase for its CBDC Private Ledger product. The Ripple-powered central bank digital currency will handle the cross-border and wholesale payments. – Bitcoin Mining Records 31% Difficulty Surge Level Increase Since July
Global Miners keeps accumulating capacity as the network hash rate continues to recover, mining bitcoin becomes more difficult, according to data from blockchain explorer BTC.com. Bitcoin network difficulty rate rose by 3.2% hitting almost 19 trillion. This marks a consecutive fifth bitcoin mining difficulty since mid-july, having done over 31% increase after recording it’s lowest difficulty level at 13.7million in June 2020. Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken enabled a feature that will allow users to connect with the two payment apps; Apple Pay and Google Pay and purchase over 50 cryptocurrencies. Users are allowed to buy at a minimum of $10, with the maximum limit positioned at $7,500 within the seven-day rolling period. – Crypto Asset Trading Approved By UAE’s Stock Market Regulatory Bodies
The UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) collaborates with Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) to speed up cryptocurrency asset trading together with the financial operations inside the DWTCA’s freezone.
