Study by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Oct reveals that about 11,000 entities are responsible for more than half(55%) of Bitcoin’s on-chain volume, where cryptocurrency exchanges were estimated to account for three-quarters of on-chain volume. Also, The report shows how the top 1,000 largest investors control about 3 million BTC (15.9% of circulating Bitcoin) then, 9,000-largest investors have about 2 million BTC combined.
