– Meta Will Begin Experimenting With Digital Collectibles On Instagram

According to CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Meta will begin testing digital collectibles and NFTs on Instagram this week. NFTs can now be used as profile images on Instagram by creators and collectors. – India’s Oldest Depository, NSDL Debuts A Blockchain For Bonds

India’s oldest depository, National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL), which controls 89 percent of the market share assessed in securities assets value, introduced a distributed ledger technology platform for the Debenture Covenant Monitoring system to improve bond monitoring. Plutus (a Cardano-based smart contract platform) has seen significant growth, with 283 new smart contracts added between April 8 and May 8. Between the two periods, Cardano had added an average of more than 70 new smart contracts per week. Governor Spencer Cox of Utah has signed a bill to establish a Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force, which will advise the federal government on blockchain and related technology. Non-financial incentives for the fintech, blockchain, and digital innovation industries in the state will also be included in the recommendations.
