– Robinhood Set To Integrate Bitcoin Gifting Feature On Platform
As per information from the report by Bloomberg, The Financial services platform Robinhood will be integrating a new feature inorder to allow its users send bitcoin to each other as a gift, code discovered in a beta version of its iPhone app. The code shows the feature will permit the sending of cryptocurrency through digital gift cards that can be accompanied by messages, about 180 characters in length. – Mininig BHC Group Completes First $30million Blockchain Trade in Copper Concentrate
Mining giant BHP Group leveraged the blockchain technology through China Minmetals and the MineHub platform to complete the first cross-border copper concentrate trial shipment transaction. The $30 million transaction via the deployment of blockchain solved the challenges in the settlement process of copper concentrates which involves high processing costs, complex pricing mechanisms, and vulnerability to errors and fraud.Read Full on Finbold.
– Ukraine’s Central Bank To Handle Digital Currency Pilot Using Stellar
The Stellar Development Foundation in a recent Announcement confirms that’s the Stellar blockchain will be used to drive an electronic version of the hryvnia, the national currency of Ukraine. The pilot will be carried out by FinTech firm Bitt and TASCOMBANK, then overseen by the country’s central bank, having the backing of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. – Coinbase Wallet Rolls Out Support for Non Fungible Tokens
Coinbase plans to support NFT via the coinbase browser wallet, which will enable users to view NFT collections associated with their addresses. Although, the wallet in the extension will not immediately have support for the NFT gallery viewing. However, the company may roll out the feature shortly. Cash App, in its Tweet on Tuesday said that it is not mandatory for people to actually buy or own any Bitcoin or stock before gifting it to their loved ones via the app. Notably, “users — approximately 40 million active monthly — could send as little as $1 in BTC or stock as a gift just like cash. According to a new report by EY, the Crypto sector currently contributes AU$2.1 billion (US$1.5 billion) and employs around 11,600 people. However, with correct reform and growth, the report predicts these figures could swell to AU$68.4 billion (US$48.62 billion) with over 200,00 people employed in the sector.
