Major venture firms and other players within the blockchain, crypto-metaverse and gaming ecosystems have backed the VCORE presale, MetaJuice, the blockchain-focused subsidiary of Together Labs, announced on Wednesday.
According to the MetaJuice team, the final VCORE presale closed with strategic investment from Animoca Brands and other leading crypto-centric firms.
The token for the Metaverse
MetaJuice launched in 2021 and has the metaverse token VCORE designed to power any given virtual economy via a community-driven effort that rewards active players and creators.
The ERC-20 token will go live in the metaverse social app IMVU, The Together Labs subsidiary said in the press release shared with Invezz.
Other strategic VCORE buyers were Meta Impact Capital, BITKRAFT Ventures, Blockchain CoInvestors, Immutable X, DWeb3 Capital, Rosemoor Digital Assets, Peer Ventures, and Mirana Ventures.

According to the MetaJuice team, VCORE will boast a thriving economy for virtual goods and services, with more than 200,000 active creators and/or earners. The platform is looking at more than 1 million daily active users, as per the details in the press release.
Once it goes live, the metaverse token will initially be available only to IMVU users outside of the United States and Canada.

BITKRAFT Ventures, Peer Ventures, Mirana Ventures, and Rosemoor Digital Assets also backed VCORE during its oversubscribed first presale conducted last year. The presale had attracted Sky9 Capital, Jump Capital, Meteoric Labs, and Cointelligence among others.
As Invezz reported in June, MetaJuice unveiled its first NFT collection in partnership with Immutable X and fashion house Auroboros.
