The digital currency exchange Bitfinex will be giving 600,000 tether (USDT) and 36 bitcoin (BTC) worth slightly over $734K at the time of writing, to communities and small companies in El Salvador. The beneficiaries’ bitcoin wallets, including the Chivo wallets, will receive the donations in BTC.
