– WisdomTree Expands Fund’s Exposure To Bitcoin Futures, Re-Applies For Spot ETF

WisdomTree, an asset manager with over $76 billion in assets under management, announced on Thursday that its commodities-focused Managed Futures Strategy exchange-traded fund now has bitcoin futures exposure (ETF). WisdomTree’s proposal for a spot bitcoin ETF was denied by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a month ago, but the business has since refiled. – Bitso, Latin American Cryptocurrency Exchange To Support S. Paulo Football Club

Bitso, a Latin American crypto exchange, revealed on Friday that it has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Brazilian soccer side S Paulo Futebol Clube (SPFC). According to Bitso’s Vice President of Marketing, José Molina, the crypto exchange’s logo will appear on S. Venture capital (VC) guru Katie Haun is reportedly raising $900 million for two cryptocurrency funds following the departure from Andreessen Horowitz, according to Financial Times. This could be a significantly large debut for a new venture capital firm.
