Popular pop music star Justin Bieber has become the latest member of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) after he purchased a NFT Ape #3001 from the BAYC collection for 500 ETH worth about $1.3 million on the leading marketplace OpenSea. Mike McGlone, Bloomberg Intelligence’s senior commodity strategist, has opined that Bitcoin and Ethereum are still in early adoption days. He thinks that the two largest cryptocurrencies to continue appreciating due to supply-demand dynamics. McGlone believes that only a black swan even will be able to stop the proliferation of these cryptos. The bitcoin whitepaper, published by anonymous author Satoshi Nakamoto, is available in a variety of languages as community members attempt to spread the contents of the document to the public. As of Jan. 30, 2022, the whitepaper had been translated into 40 languages with Nepali becoming the latest addition. The translation uploaded on the Bitcoin.org website was done by two crypto enthusiasts Krishna Dahal and Bibek Koirala. Zuellig Pharma, an Asian medical services company, has created a blockchain platform to improve its vaccine monitoring service and prevent incidents that could endanger public’s health. eZTracker, Zuellig Pharma’s management system, ensures the authenticity of vaccines, preventing medical product smuggling and vaccine and supply misappropriation during official distribution.
