– El Salvador To Launch Bitcoin City Backed By $1B BTC Bonds

El Salvador continues its lead on the massive Bitcoin (BTC) adoption movement as President Nayib Bukele announces the launch of Bitcoin City with the involvement of prominent crypto companies like cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex and Adam Back’s Blockstream. Mobile cloud software company Phunware (PHUN), in a recent announcement, notes it has bought an additional 398 bitcoins for about $23.8 million in cash at an average price of about $59,917 per bitcoin, which includes fees.
