Bloomberg senior commodity analyst Mike McGlone told Scott Melker, presenter of the Wolf of All Streets podcast, that the markets are overdue for a large correction, most notably in equities, but also in crypto. In a Thursday earnings announcement, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase said it made $2.5 billion in net revenue in Q4 2021. Other notable figures include $840 million in net profits, $1.2 billion in adjusted EBITDA, and 11.4 million monthly transaction users (MTUs). Retail traders accounted for $177 billion of the reported volume, while institutional traders accounted for $371 billion.
