â XRP Sales Skyrocketed To $491 Million In Q3
Ripple has logged a 211% quarter-over-quarter increase in its XRP sales, according to the companyâs Q3 report. It sold $491.74 million worth of XRP during the previous quarter compared to $157.92 million in the second quarter of the year. The growth is attributed to the success of Rippleâs On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) service, which uses XRP as a bridge between fiat currencies. â Patreon Considers Allowing Creators to Use Crypto
Patreon, the well known membership organization, is now pondering the idea of introducing crypto elements to add new revenue paths, according to statements from CEO Jack Conte and Chief Product Officer Julian Gutman. During The Informationâs 2021 Creator Economy Summit, both directives admitted the idea of introducing a membership token for content creators is on the table. A gigantic digital billboard promoting the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency has popped up in New York Cityâs Times Square. The display reads: âWe will reach the moon soon,â referring to the widely used slang phrase in the cryptocurrency community. Shiba Inu is not the first meme coin to land in Times Square. Peter Thiel said Sunday at a conservative conference that the high price of Bitcoin indicates the economy is facing real inflation. The tech billionaire said price rises arenât transitory, and criticized the Federal Reserve for not addressing inflation and failing to recognize its seriousness.
